With the new Power BI experience Chat with your Data, users can ask questions directly in natural language and gain insights faster and more intuitively than ever before.
The goal of the workshop is to help participants prepare and structure their Power BI models for AI-powered, conversational queries, enabling more efficient use of Copilot in Power BI.
As the speaker, Emre Caliskaner will guide you through the workshop. He is an Analytics Consultant at the HICO Group and specializes in transforming data into strategic insights through scalable business intelligence and data warehouse solutions. With his expertise in Microsoft technologies and deep knowledge of ETL processes and analytics, he supports companies in turning complex data into actionable business value. Thanks to his practical experience, he provides not only in-depth expertise but also valuable insights and best practices from real-world projects.

- Preparing and optimizing Power BI models for AI tools and conversational queries
- Techniques for refining and validating models through testing and iteration
- Guiding Copilot responses through context, phrasing and tone
- Using Fabric Data Agents for contextual insights from Fabric and external sources

participants gain strategic insights into the evolution of Copilot, hands-on
experience in preparing data for AI scenarios, and an introduction to the new
full-screen Copilot experience.
The workshop is aimed at professionals in Power BI data analysis and development with existing Power BI experience. The goal is to optimize existing models or design new ones that are fully ready for AI-powered analytics.
