The Getränke Hoffmann Group has around 300 independent retail partners in the stores and around 1,500 employees in administration, logistics and the stores (as of July 2023). The company offers a wide range of 7,700 products and is part of the Radeberger Group, which in turn is part of the Dr. Oetker Group.

Getränke Hoffmann faced the challenge of flexibly managing the rapid inorganic growth through acquisitions and the decentralized organization. This posed considerable challenges for the controlling team in particular, as seasonal fluctuations in turnover and complex planning requirements due to regional differences made precise forecasts difficult. The existing planning in Excel could no longer meet the increasing requirements, which is why a scalable and efficient solution was urgently needed.

The HICO Group used the Jedox BI platform to provide Getränke Hoffmann with an integrated and scalable planning solution. With the integration of SAP data via Snowflake as a data warehouse,
an efficient system was created that flexibly covers seasonal and regional requirements. The drill-through function enabled direct access to SAP documents, which significantly increased
transparency, while real-time calculations provided immediate insight into economic impact. This solution ensured that planning remained agile and adaptable to the growth of the business.

The implemented solution is future-proof and flexibly scalable to support growing requirements and new business processes at Getränke Hoffmann. In the next steps, the company plans to integrate Microsoft Power BI to enable further analyses and interactive visualizations. This will provide even more targeted support for strategic decisions and take data analysis to a new level.
