IBCS and ISO 24896 - Notation standards for reports and their automation
I would like to introduce you to the process "From Data to Reports to Decisions," which focuses on transforming data into understandable and actionable information that supports strategic and operational decisions. Artificial Intelligence (AI) plays a crucial role in this, offering immense opportunities for the automation of tasks across various fields. AI also helps in recognizing patterns and making predictions. For the automated generation of consistently designed reports, a semantic notation is required that assigns meaning to visual representations. An international standard, ISO 24896, is currently being developed based on the proposals from the IBCS Association.
