First times are one of those things … As we all know, they are not always rewarded with resounding success.
The Service Provider Survey, conducted for the first time by analyst firm BARC, was a different story: It is – at least for us here at HICO – a tremendous success! In the style of TV documentaries: With the number of badges we were awarded, you could NEARLY build a tower to the moon*.
In 32 categories, HICO was able to occupy leading positions, and in 11 cases – i.e. over a third of those! – even the respective top positions!

What is important: The rankings do not stem from any juries or analysts … but from you – from our customers. Together with the quotes collected in the survey, these rankings are therefore grist to our mill, fuel for our engine, fire for our boilers – in any case, great energy for our team. We are very grateful to everyone who took part.

But quite apart from the fact that there are some categories that are very close to our hearts:
The results show that we are not entirely wrong in the way we approach projects and which values we focus on. In other words, that our claim of absolute customer centricity is by no means misguided, but quite the opposite: that it is precisely this focus on our customers that leads to successful projects.

Hidden qualities?
In addition to the top rankings, we have also achieved some fairly decent positions in the winners’ field. We are particularly proud to lead the field in project management (together with our colleagues (m/f/d) from QUNIS, Marmeladenbaum and KPMG): A commodity, you could say – after all, projects have to be managed somehow. But it is precisely here that the weal and woe of projects can be decided.
The same applies to the field of “Industry Expertise”, which we lead in the Data & Analytics Generalists peer group: The energy with which HICO consultants dig into the needs, logics and dynamics of clients in order to deliver the best possible results is thus given a rather nice recognition.

What clients are saying
We can tell a lot of tales. But what’s more important is what others say about us. The participants in The Data & Analytics Service Provider Survey 25 didn’t hold back and really covered ourselves in glory:
There’s almost nothing more we can add – except: if you happen to need support with controlling, business intelligence, AI in BI, cloud migration projects, implementing Jedox, Qlik or Power BI, want to tap into our expert skills for AI projects, want to take your existing Qlik or Power BI solutions to a whole new level … or know someone who knows someone who does … then just get in touch with us:
Peer groups
The survey covers a range of different data & analytics service providers. The study therefore uses comparison groups to ensure that similar service providers are compared with each other.
Data & Analytics Service Provider: Companies that focus on services for data & analytics. This requires a noticeable market presence in at least one of the areas of AI, data management, business intelligence and/or CPM.
Data & analytics generalists: Companies that offer a broad range of data & analytics services and have a significant market presence in several of the AI, data management, business intelligence and CPM segments.
Microsoft Partners: Data & Analytics service providers for whom Microsoft is one of the central technology partners.
IBM Partners: Data & Analytics service providers for whom the IBM technology portfolio for Data & Analytics is one of the central focal points of their offering.
HICO is represented in the peer groups Data & Analytics Service Providers, Data & Analytics Generalists and Microsoft Partners.

* If you printed each badge on a sheet of paper and then folded it 42 times, the result would be a very thin but very tall tower. Unfortunately, this is not physically possible.
