At HICO, we believe data holds the power to unlock human potential. Founded in 2011 by Michael Schwan and Peter Ellerau, HICO’s mission—reflected in its name, High Coordination—is to enable fact-based, transparent decision-making that drives collaboration and success.
Early challenges refined our focus, and collaborations with clients like Warner Brothers, Siemens, and Novartis taught us the importance of aligning with the right partners and building adaptable systems. In 2019, Bastian Lossen joined as co-owner, bringing his strategic expertise to elevate HICO further.
When Michael and Bastian first met in Zurich, they connected over values and a vision to build something meaningful together. This synergy has shaped HICO’s future as a platform blending cutting-edge tech with a people-first approach. Today, our team remains dedicated to creating lasting value—for us and, most importantly, for our clients.
